This site is the evolution of the infamous www.mactools.ab.ca protest site that I launched Sept 1st 1999. That site, which detailed my epic battle with Mac Tools, was the nexus for my being named defendant in a frivolous $15,000,000 defamation and Trademark lawsuit.
This dispute has become even more protracted than outlined at mactools.ab.ca and is now involving: 5 law firms in 9 cities, covering 4 disputes in 4 jurisdictions in 2 countries employing the services of no less than 10 lawyers!! As the dispute has grown, I felt that the web site should grow along with it.
I forewarned Stanley through their lawyers that I intended to purchase web sites specific to their company. For reasons unknown, they neglected to actively protect their trademark and four months after my warning, I purchased a significant number of Stanley specific domain names. All of these will redirect to this new site. They include: thestanleyworks.net, stanleyworks.net, stanley-tools.com, stanley-hardware.com, stanley-proto.com, stanley-husky.com, fuckstanley.com, mactoolssuck.com, unclestanley.com, mactools.ab.ca and of course stanleysucks.com.
