Humph. One year old. It's not really a celebration. Calling it a celebration is akin to celebrating an abscessed tooth. After a while, you just want it to go away. However, enough antibiotics can cure almost any infection. This gargantuan web site is my penicillin to the festering abscess that I call Uncle Stanley. And it's only the tip of the needle.

Over the past year, this site has grown in both content and readership to the point of being the undisputed Mother Of All Sucks Sites. At first, this was just a little web site that was my way of telling the world of the rotten business opportunity that is Mac Tools. My expectation, naive as it was, was to exert pressure on Uncle Stanley to force them into abiding by a judges order to arbitrate our original (and at this point in time, seemingly insignificant) dispute. Had they abided by the court's order in the first place, this site would not be in existence. Instead, they chose to threaten, extort and carry out a systematic plan to squish me like a bug with their international team of high priced lawyers and a litany of vexatious lawsuits.

It didn't work.

Stanley's misinformed ringleaders have escalated this dispute in an effort to chill my message, all the while ignoring the fact that everything on this site is truthful and well within the boundaries of the First Amendment.

A few short years ago, a fellow like myself would never have been able to wage a war like this against such a huge multinational corporation. The exponential growth of the Internet has given the common man equal footing with almost any entity. Before we were given this forum, we were at the mercy of these "Corporate hooligans" with their slash and burn policies and stables of litigators.

In the first days of life, the fledgling six-document site only garnered 10 to 20 hits per day, but my readership has steadily grown along with the site to average well over 1000 hits per day on over 170 documents. I have exposed illegal environmental activities, unfair and deceptive trade practices, governmental investigations, hundreds of legal disputes, illegal labor practices and much more. And I'm far from finished. In fact, I'm just getting started. Over the next year the message that Stanley Sucks will be known to all.

In their infinite wisdom, Stanley will likely continue their vendetta against me and, of course, I will continue digging up every shred of information and sharing it with you, the reader. Year number two promises to be even more shocking than year number one.
